Meet the faces : Michael Chasnitsky

A student at The Hebrew University’s Racah Institute of Physics with a specialization in Nanoscience and Nanotechnology, Michael Chasnitsky, approaches his studies with a natural curiosity about physical phenomena.

Michael is a member of Professor Dan Davidov’s laboratory where he is researching optical characteristics of small surfaces and thin layers such as living cells.

Since making Aliyah from Russia in 1995, Michael and his family have moved a lot, each time relocating to a city where his parents could find work. Michael loves living in Jerusalem and is grateful for the scholarship which has enabled him to continue on to his M.Sc. degree studies at The Hebrew University.
