2-day gathering in Rome - Concert Toscanini "The Courage of Music" Rome

 

 

 

Join us for a two-day gathering in Rome with the Friends of the Hebrew University from across Europe. This unique event, taking place from January 26-27th 2016, will offer an exceptional program around the concert: “Toscanini, the Courage of Music”.

This extraordinary concert organized for the International Holocaust Remembrance Day will honor Maestro Toscanini’s commitment to antifascism as well as the dream and efforts of Bronislaw Huberman, one of the world’s leading violinists at the time, to save Jews (click here for additional information about the concert’s initiative)

Other highlights of the program include:

- A private guided tour of the Vatican Museum (including the visit of some private areas not open to public)
